Best indian place in the whole Austin area. I'm hesitating to give it the best review for fear of the quality dropping as too many patrons could make it impossible for the chef to provide the same quality. I mean, every thing is fresh, full of flavors, not americanized at all, and you can tell by the people sitting at the table: All indians. Itʻs is the best of Austin, way better than the hyped Sangham and the likes. I hope they can keep their tables full while keeping the same quality.

Hands down the best Biryani I have had in Austin. (Way better thank your favs Sangam, Nawabi and Biryani and Co) Biryani must tries: Chicken: Pachi mirchi Biryani Paneer: Paneer special biryani Veg: Veg kheema biryani I also tried their starters and snacks, they are good as well. But the biryanis are on another level.

🍛 A Pleasant Surprise After Movie Time at Sanjeevani Indian Cuisine This was my first visit to Sanjeevani Indian Cuisine with my friends, and honestly, it turned out to be such a satisfying experience 😍 We visited around 3:30 PM after watching a movie at Cinemark Pflugerville 20 and XD. It was that awkward in-between time — not exactly lunch time and not snack time either 😅 We were searching for Indian restaurants that were still open at that hour, and this place happened to be open along with a few others nearby. Even though the restaurant had mixed reviews online, we decided to give it a try since we had never been there before. Plus, it was very close to the theater, which made it convenient. ⸻ 🪑 Ambience & First Impression The restaurant is located inside a shopping complex with several other stores around, so you can easily combine your visit with shopping or a movie outing. The space inside is small and cozy with limited seating, but there were already quite a few people dining when we entered. Ordered Avakaya Chicken Biryani and Pachi Mirchi Kodi Pulao. First, I tried the Avakaya Chicken Biryani — it was literally so good! The mango tanginess and the avakaya flavor perfectly. I absolutely loved the biryani and it gave a really great first impression. Then I tasted the Pachi Mirchi Kodi Pulao — it had a nice natural chili spice. It was spicy, but in a way that makes you want to keep eating more. Good quantity as well, with plenty of chicken pieces

I’m a bit baffled by the near 5stars this restaurant is rated; we dined here Friday night with barely any dinner rush and it was a 3⭐️at best. Service, although fairly polite, was so slow that it was almost uncourteous - we had to wait several minutes to get seated even though half the restaurant was empty, had to wait several minutes multiple times to get water for the table, to get our order taken, and then finally when the food was brought out that too was very slow. We ordered the prawn special (had flavor but was too spicy), soya Chaap (good flavor but came 15 minute after the prawn), chicken kebab (it was cooked, that’s about it). We also ordered the Paneer Kaju Curry (just a tikka gravy with cashews) and Chicken Mughlai (pretty standard tikka curry, nothing that stood out about the flavor) with butter naan, lacha paratha (all the breads were almost crispy, not fluffy and soft as they should be). We also got the Malai Kofta Biryani (came several minutes after the rest, but this seemed fresh in that the serving bowl was steaming hot) which was decent, and not gimmicky as the dish title suggests - the koftas were good but few and far between.
